Winter Scotland Tour

Every year in the last week of the Christmas holidays a group of 20 or so go up to the Scottish mountains to enjoy some winter mountaineering. This trip is always a highlight of the year for those who go as the mountains are bigger and more exciting and after all, who doesn't love wading through waist deep snow while bits of ice hurl themselves into your face at 60mph?! (Actually, though it can be like that, it's not always, and whatever the weather it's pretty fantastic)

For anyone who hasn't done it before we organise a training day with an experienced mountain guide who will teach you how to use crampons and ice axes. This trip is harder than our normal weekend trips and requires a bit more experience in 'summer' conditions.
